Starting out as a small hardware store in 1911, Ezel Civata expanded its business by importing glass for the construction industry in the 30's. Taking the name of Ezel Civata in the late 70's, Ezel Civata took its first steps in the fastener industry.Soon Ezel gained reputation and became a well known name for its 5.8, 6.8 quality bolts and became a respectable fastener distributor with its sales force and product diversity. With globalization on the run and the approaching millennium, Ezel decided to create an international brand and invest in manufacturing. Building a new production facility in an international investment zone located in Izmir, Ezel moved into its new production plant in 2007.The facility consists of 11.000 square meters of closed area for manufacturing and administration and 22.000 square meters of open area for logistics and expansion. Ezel heavily invested in new machinery, and now has over 23 multi station cold formers and 11 heading machines in its machine park.Besides its line of standard fasteners, Ezel is capable of manufacturing custom cold formed parts which require high precision and quality. One of its expertise in this area is bullet shells which requires extremely high standards and low tolerance values.Today Ezel manufactures over 20 lines of products under its brand “Exel Fasteners” and exports fasteners throughout Europe from this new facility.Having a very high reputation for its fast delivery times even for small quantities, Ezel benefits from Turkey’s customs trade union with Europe.
